A Community Space for All in Kemp Town

There's a lot going on "In the Crypt" below St. George's Church.

A wide range of support groups meet in the Centre. It also hosts a range of activites, including the University of the Third Age (U3A) and Open Space Dance School.

Groups cater for Kemp Town in all its diversity.

The hall and rooms are available for hire.

There is also a great non-profit making Café run in partnership with St John's College, which is open to local residents, workers, and all Centre users. It provides a pleasant friendly meeting place supplying good quality varied meals at reasonable prices. Why not drop in for a chat, read the papers and try us out.

The Crypt is also home to St George's Neighbourhood Nursery, a friendy,cosy 22 place Ofsted-registered Nursery, caring for up to 22 children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
